About Izzy
Izzy Barney is an independent musician and visual artist based in Davis and Stockton, California. They have released music under their own name, as well as with their band FACEFORRADIO, and they co-run COOL DOG RECORDS. They also direct short films and documentaries through BUS SPOTTING PRODUCTIONS.Izzy writes and records original music on major streaming platforms. They've worked on tracks with several different artists, including Beaa and Lotus T.They also experiment with VHS videography and editing, creating abstract documentaries mostly centered around music and bands. Izzy has extensive experience with editing interviews and documentaries. They co-hosted and edited "The Mudville Spotlight" with Lotus T. Their camera work can also be found on select "Live In Studio A" sessions at KDVS Davis.As co-runner of Cool Dog Records, Izzy specializes in artist outreach and event coordination. They've organized several different shows in the central valley, with countless different artists around around the country.
